It is so easy to neglect yourself during a divorce, but eating well, sleeping eight hours a night, and taking vitamins will all reduce your stress and make you feel better.
It is vital to take time for exercising. Physical exertion may heighten your emotional state, provide more energy, and relieve tension in your form. Have fun with a quick jaunt through the park or something else to keep you active to use up extra energy and to enjoy the outdoors. Yoga, and deep breathing, are great ways to lower stress - all it takes is 5 deep breaths and you’ll feel the difference. Taking a new exercise class can shake up your routine and help you meet new people.
Don’t be afraid to pamper yourself. With all the time we devote to the care of other people, we need to focus on our own needs. Treat yourself; go out to a fancy eatery, take a trip, or take up a new hobby. You can make it through the divorce, and what comes after, much more easily if you maximize your energy by tending to your own needs first.
